Here, the stone-faced man finally collapses. A week later, Du-jin visits Tae-su in prison, bringing the killer’s mother with him for a meeting. When Jae-hui arrives on the scene, Do-won is arrested for his misdeeds, while Han-joon attracts media attention thanks to his group’s claims that he used spirits to find the criminal. Meanwhile, Su-cheol kisses Hye-jun and Na-dan. “I don’t think I embody justice,” Han-joon says in response to claims that he’s no different from the man he faces, ready to hand him over to the police. Believing he is right and necessary for the people, Gopuri gains the upper hand in the fight, until the aggressive former shaman perseveres enough to expose his enemy’s fear of death. Next, we watch Du-jin and Jae-hui deal with a small gang of criminals, before returning to the big final showdown between Do-won and Han-joon. After all, he’s still a murderer who does this at least partly for fun.

What follows is an intense one-on-one, which includes a verbal statement that the serial killer should “stop pretending to be a creepy victim” despite being brainwashed. Ignoring the warning that it might be so Gopuri can chase after him, Han-joon rushes to the parking lot to confront his foe. With three targets remaining, investigative teams split up to keep tabs on each individual to stop the pursuit of a sadistic killing spree.Īt the hardware store, Su-cheol rushes to the aid of the injured man, only to find himself locked inside by an initially smug Do-won.
There are also a few new additions, which take a look at who might be potential targets.Īs Jae-hui informs Han-joon of Do-won’s whereabouts, the shaman notices the connection between these addresses and those of his likely victims. Elsewhere, Hye-jun’s examination of the encrypted files on the prosecutor’s computer shows that the names on the Gopuri Cloth match the people in Do-won’s files, meaning he actually created the list. Believing it’s because he has a plan, Jae-hui seems hesitant to act. Above all, it becomes apparent that the clicker was the prosecutor’s primary means of controlling the urges, causing the shaman to conclude once again that Do-won must be stopped before he can cause any more harm.Īt the police station, multiple reports show that Do-won was spotted freely in public places in Sinmyeong. This, and the group understands why Hye-yoon was killed, in addition to the fact that if Gopuri was properly disciplined, he might not have become a vicious serial killer.
Looking at the footage, Han-joon quickly realizes the extent of Do-won’s brainwashing. Meanwhile, Do-won’s office is searched for potentially important information, leading the police to stumble upon Hye-yoon’s CD explaining his manipulation tactics.

Perhaps surprisingly, some people are actually extremely supportive of Do-won’s fake vigilantism. As such, Han-joon heads alongside Jae-hui to investigate nearby pharmacies in hopes of finding out if Gopuri has visited, just as we’re shown how media coverage is now dominated by debate and gossip. There they find the white truck belonging to Do-won, which is apparently transporting a man with an injured leg to Jadku-dong. The detective, however, feels upset that she was taken for a fool by Do-won, who lied to her so convincingly for a long time.Īfter Han-joon comforts Jae-hui, we move on to the police station, where detectives are checking CCTV footage.
Later, Han-joon can’t feel relieved that his ally only suffered a scrape, instead focusing on the fact that he allowed their target to take off. Unfortunately for the pursuit team, they are powerless to stop Gopuri from fleeing, especially once Jae-hui is shot in the arm. Armed with a shotgun, Tae-su enters the vicinity, hoping to help Do-won escape. However, things don’t quite go as planned. When we return to Gopuri’s clash with the Minamdang shaman, it is revealed that the culprit’s confession was recorded on cameras, while Du-jin tries to get the prosecutor to come with him to the station without a fuss. Once it’s established that Seung-won would be framed for Han-joon’s murder, we watch as Jae-hui walks away from being tied up, running away and Sang-hyub, ready to grab Do-won.
